Is the quarter life crisis real?

I have to say 2018 has been the start of my quarter life crisis... It's all to easy if you over think like I do... Like, what have I accomplished in the past 22 years? What about you? This can be such a great thing though. If it wasn't for this I wouldn't have run back to my dream of teaching and I wouldn't have pursued going back to school.

What college entrance exam do I take?

I know, for the United States, you have a couple options including the ACT and the SAT. I personally chose to take the ACT because it was a little more widely accepted and the questions are a little bit easier. The major con to the ACT is while the questions are easier they focus more on the time crunch than the difficulty of questions. The ACT also includes a science section, as the SAT doesn't.

Your phone is your best friend, trust me

Y’all, I recently upgraded my S7 and got myself an iPhone X and I couldn’t be more in love with it. I’ve always been a fan of the Galaxy line and I still am but there is just so much you can do with the iPhone that you can’t with anything else; Facetime can be a lifesaver at times… This post isn’t about The iPhone though, it’s about how you can make the most out of your phone. Phones aren’t just for calls anymore, nor are they just for sending texts… I know the appeal to texts is real; I send upwards of 2000 a month. PDAs are a thing…

    I’m still here

Just wanted to throw a little update out there for you guys, I’m sorry for the lack of posts in October… I didn’t have posts prepared for the month and I’ve been fighting the flu so it was a struggle to get out of bed. I even didn’t go to work for almost a week. I apologize for not being better prepared. Also, I am recalibrating the blog so my schedule page is currently out of commission while I get back in the swing of things. I can’t wait to show y’all what great things we have coming! Again, I’m sorry and thanks for taking the time to read. I…

Make the most of your life today!

Big decisions Life is so short. I know, my older relatives have been telling me this my entire life and I ignored them for the first eighteen years of my life; I completely regret not taking the reigns and leading my life instead of just being a long for the ride and taking the easy option. All to often I though I was making the ‘right’ decision but it was normally the decision that was in front of me and sounded the most opinion. Two decisions I’ve made that I wouldn’t make again are when I withdrew from college to work full time and when I made the choice not…

Book Review: Turtles All The Way Down

This is the third John Green book I have read; this list also includes An Abundance of Katherines and The Fault in Our Stars. Full disclosure, I would say this is my second favorite book. TFIOS is just freakishly amazing and I don’t think anything can compare. This book is amazing nonetheless and for sure a must read.  The main character, Aza, and her best friends are so relatable. Believe me, relatable characters are something that’s tough to do. At no point in the book do you feel like you aren’t immersed in the story; John Green does a great job at making you feel like the story is happening around you instead…

    My Halloween go to books!!!

Y’all will learn that I’m a huge lover of YA fiction; books themselves, however, are some of my favorite things. I wanted to do a post on what books define Halloween to me. I haven’t read any new Halloween books lately, so these will be mostly stories I grew up reading and some that I plan on reading throughout the month. Also, I did my best to limit spoilers and instead say why I love the book. I posted links to all of the books Amazon pages, feel free to click if you want to read the summary in all it’s glory (spoilers included). 1. Scary Stories to Tell In…
